RCT Discussion / RCT2: TT and WW

I've been playing Rollercoaster Tycoon (the original) since it was FIRST released, and I developed an unquenchable addiction. Hell, the old Danimation site was the first community that I was somewhat a part of.
When RCT2 came out, I initially was incredibly disillusioned by all the trouble that people were having 'hacking' and 'cracking' it to develop trainers, and eventually, I completely moved away from it. Now, I return to see that people are doing things with the game that far exceed even most of the things from the original, and my curiosity has been resparked, so to speak.
Now, I know how shitty the two expansions are supposed to be, but my question is... how many people actually utilize them? Meaning, do most of the 'developers' and 'park builders' create their parks in a format that I won't be able to use with just the basic game?
Just wondering. -

WW = Waste of object space and money (you can download it free and legally anyways)
TT = Waste of money - Hardly anyone uses it.
Depends why you want them really, for a scenarios or parkmaking? -

Actually, I don't really care whether it's legal or not... I just figured it'd be a pain in the ass to track them down online in any form.
And it would be for park making: I couldn't care less about scenarios. -

As stated, the expansions are a waste of valuable object space!
And no, you won't be limited in your park viewing if you have just the base RCT2. Not many people use WW or TT.
With the 3 pack available, do you have the option of only installing the base game, or do you have to install the exp. packs as well?? -

I bought the complete pack with all of the expansions and stuff, and deleted EVERYTHING that came with them. So, I'd say, "No". -

WW- yes. Simply get rid of the ugly stuff. There is alot of good scenery in it.
TT- no. Crap in a pretty box. -

I agree with Ice. I myself got the "Triple Thrill Pack" No you cannot only select one game. It automatically installs TT. Which is fine as long as you clear alot from the Objdata file.
