(Archive) Advertising District / Park "Erm... No name yet :P"

Hello, I'm geussing nobody remembers me as I only have 10 posts and my last topic here is about a year old from my first park "Imperial Heights", But anyway, it's summer now, I'm going to the theme parks up here in the midwest that are just opening now that its warm. (Valley Fair ) And If you geussed I'm back into RCT2 again, you geussed right . Well I've sorta started a new park thats unamed, and I only have 1 screen and that is of a very unfinished area, but tell me what you think anyway.

It has a peaceful feel to it.... very, pavillion (sp?) like.

The water fall looks kind of awkward at the edge of the map, as does the building. Im not to crazy for your style of archy, but thing I really dont care for is how all the foliage is neat and organized, Make it look more wild and ungrown by mixing foliage up, also throw some flowers in there as well. Great start!

Erm...what screen? If you mean that little red X....then it looks lovely.

^ I agree. Also, why is there a fence on the waterfall? It looks really awkward.

Thanks guys, I still don't know what to put in that empty grassy area, any suggestions? That foilage their is just temporary, I'll be changing it. Well with the fence thing I was going for it to be part of the temple-like place's stuff. you can't see in that screen but there is a small house up there - I'll work on it more tonight, thats all i had time for to get done last night, I'll keep you guys posted , please, post any suggestions you might have or pointers . I worked on that area today and I now have 4 new screens to show you guys of that area of my park .

Note : Forgot to put handyman on the flowers, they look... dead...lol sorry

Change the land under the paths, and get rid of that little fence on the waterfall.
Other than that, good job - nice feel to it

Looks alright. You have a unique style. Careful not to go crazy with the lombardy poplars.

wha-? I'm sorry, is it bad to show screens as my park progresses? or would you rather i wait till its one full big arse park and then show screens? either way lol. Accept for the fact that it will take awhile to get the whole thing done...

I think maybe he was referring to the four screens which basically just show the same thing. Probably just one would have sufficed for now.

I was going to reply saying that it looked wonderful, but then i saw that you ruined it already. Can't you see bare grass works well for a seating area?


Don't worry about the screens really, that's bullshit only a portion of NE cares about. Such as Iris, etc.

The supports of the bridges are standing on the water
They dont contact the ground.

On which bridge? the one with the top or the one with no top? Because the one without a top is just a straight bridge, no need for supports really, those side things are more of just for looks and stuff

I've been updating the park more, I'm starting to put in a few rides and theme theming them, i'll get some pics up later.

I ment the bridge on the third pic.
