Well, here it is. Sorry to those who wanted to see this complete, but I just do not have the will-power to complete the park. So, yeah.

Thanks to everyone that helped me with the park, especially Steve, posix, and Metro.
So, without further ado, here's Project: Onyx, my first release in a long time.

Finish this PLEASE! It was one of the better parks. :(

I think the problem was clear, the park was over 200x200 for sure and that can make for a real bitch to get finished.

I liked a lot of it. Steve's entry was really nice, he makes some of the best atmosphers. Metro's invert was amazing, a perfect 10 imo, tho its theming could have been much better, also did you tell him you were just gona release this? that would have made NE design without a dubt. I really, really like the wicked twister style Intamins invert, great job adding elements to it. Is it just me or was that woodie and a building theming it the same style as your H2H park with hobbes? I can't help wondering witch came first...

Shame this will go unfinshed :'(

Better luck next time Drew

I liked most of it. I enjoyed a lot of the landscaping, and most of the atmosphere was pretty nice. Too bad you didn't finish it. :(

My favourite part was the invert. It is probably the best invert i have ever seen within a park, smooth layout with dives and twists, and with a 'double-loop' effect at the entrance of the ride. Fantastic.

The rest of the park ws on the right lines, what was there, was spotlight/SRU quality- but a 200x200 park with the standard of quality so far would have really pushed you to the limit. The tracks within the park were the main point, perfect speeds on most of them, also i have never seen an impulse-coaster perfected so well... good job. Shame you could not finish it. :(

This park really had some very quality parts in it. My favorite area was definitely the entrance area. Like X, I too really liked the impulse and how well it was done.

Its really too bad it get this one too. 200x200 is a lot too get done, i am sure.

Given that it's probable that you will improve beyond this in your next work, if you reduce the map size you may well get Spotlight. The quality was certainly there in this park to reach that level. The woodie was particularly fantastic. I think that a slight rearrangement of the loops on the invert was just begging for a self-duel, and if you had set the loading time to around 30-35 seconds, something in there might have worked. All in all, great work. But be nice to those Arrow corkscrew riders. :)

Aside from Steve's entrance to this map, it didn't do much for me. It seemed dated in places and under-detailed in others. However, the impulse was great, as were the majority of the coaster layouts. It wasn't too bad but it wasn't too good either.

I enjoyed the park quite a bit however it does nothing to influence me or make me want to look back at it. Steve's enterence was mighty awesome however the rest of the map fails to live up to it. Metro's invert is overated. I still don't understand what's so amazingly incredible about it. There's nothing wrong with it however there's something about it (that I can't place) that I didn't really like about it.

Drew's theming was nice in this very pleasently classical way that reminded me of a sort of simplified RoB. It had similar elements and textures in the architecture but it was stripped of all the frills and just served up exacly what the base forms are. This is great however I don't find it particularly engaging to take in. The 4d was really cool though. Very creative layout with spinning seats. :)

I understand why you stopped and in your position I probably would've months ago.

well drew, you know my feelings about this park.

still steve's best work, in my opinion. that was the time when he started to impress me.

Wow, I remember making the invert in this.

Though I can't remember the layout too well...I think I was quite proud of it. I think what made this park hard to work on (for me at least) thus making my theming around the invert quite poor was the poor workbench. There was very limited pieces of scenery that could be used to accent buildings so I struggled with it.

Anyway, I'll give the park a download to check it out when I get back from vacation.

Thanks for all the comments. I'm glad most of you liked what I had. I'm surprised you guys liked the impulse. I didn't think of it as anything special but I'm glad you guys liked it.

As for my next project, I don't know. I'm just playing around in the game and waiting 'til I can get a mouse for my laptop 'cuz I noticed how hard it is to play with the mouse that comes with the laptop... Even harder for RCT3. I do know that my next park will be along the lines of 120x120 - 130x130 for the map size.

So, yeah.
Expect something from me in the near future. And I'm glad you guys liked the park. I had fun making most parts of it.
