Should have researched before I posted I guess!
Anyway, I found out that there is a way to run any Windows application on a Mac. There's a program called "Virtual PC", that essentially opens an application window in your mac, with Windows XP running in it. You can therefore run Windows programs, albeit at a slower pace. But the Microsoft suggest 700Mhz, and 512MB ram...which my mac will have so np there!

Where can I get this program?

Hey! I'm in Osaka right now! Tokyo Disney Sea was amazing; and because I was there on the 20th, and Raging Spirts opened on the 21st, anybody who was going to go to the park might as well go on the 21st, hence, everything was a walk on! No joke. The crowds were comparable to those of DCA. Trip report of my whole Japan trip when I get back with pictures. Should be Saturday or Sunday. Anyways:

Virtual PC works okay on Apple. I have a 12" Powerbook, 1.33GHZ, 512MB RAM and it runs okay. Do not expect stellar performance. Just make sure the settings favor Virtual PC in the foreground; I missed that until a few weeks ago and the preformance increased quite a bit. I usually use RCTLL, and the only really poor part of its performance is zeroing and restoring clearances.

I haven't tried RCT3, mostly because I don't think it will run. I have the demo but haven't installed it. Graphics performance on Virtual PC is not good. I think my computer has a 64MB video card. Some of the more powerful Apples come with a 128MB video card. That may allow for RCT3. What kind of Apple are you purchasing? I know you'll love it!

Glad you enjoyed your trip to Japan...it's always a country I've wanted to go to!
Anyway, I'm getting a Mini-Mac with 1.42Ghz G4, 80GB HD, 512MB Ram, but unfortunately, its graphics don't seem to good...it has a 32MB ATI Radeon 9200. Do you think this is enough to run RCT2?

    Same here.

However, I've definitely heard that DisneySea is the most amazing half day park anyone could ever go to. Half day because they still need a few attractions to fill it in, but with Raging Spirits and next year's Tower, that should round out fine.

Nate, I hope you took pics. I SOOOOOOO totally hate you right now. :D

Also, do me a favor and go by the entrance of DisneyLAND. There's a parking lot over there... make sure they haven't started building anything around the place. I'm on the Tokyo Disney Hotel project for a week and a half and we're convinced the Japanese are being so efficient they might already be starting construction before we're even done with Design Development! :p

    Glad you're having fun.

And actually, since you said you were there on the 20th... you can't really go and check now. Ah well. ;)X
