(Archive) Advertising District / First LL Park

Hi, this is my first LL park, i dont know if its good or bad, but i hope that i get some tipps and tricks to become better in this game...
Well...the entrance:



I placed many flowers, but know they are all desiccated...Anytime I'll let it rain and show you an other screen with brightling flowers
I know, the Bridge doesnt look well...There I need help, i dunno how it could look better...

Finally i have a question...In some spotlights there is !1! Wooden Coaster on every house and building...I see, that the hole area is full of this Wodden Roofs, but they are all from the Same Attraction...I dont know how this is possible, that must be much work, or is there a trick?

Whats the deal with the hotdog stand and the others there?

Also i dnot really like the beach chairs, but it still works, i guess.

The stands are only for theming...but if its necessary, i'll make a path to them.

The one thing you never want to do in LL is let people see your window track.

This looks nice, especially for your first attempt at LL. I am really not sure about the 3 stands in a row you have there. The bridge looks nice, good use of trackitecture.

It should be possible to get rid of the yellow boarding under the beach chairs by hacking in a piece of sky ride underneath....

I actually like those three stalls. It's a place to buy stuff when you're on the beach.

Even better, build them underground, zero and lower the land through them.

Hmm I guess you just build it on one building, then build it over to the next building and delete the bits in between?

The trick is to build the coaster everywhere you want to have it, then delete the connections between each spot.

Well, some people leave a bit of track out in the open, then build towards the place in question, build the track there, then delete everything else but that little bit of track out in the open.

That's pretty good for a first attempt. The buildings are nice and the only problem I have with the bridge is that it looks kind of weak with no real substance to it. The only thing that is holding you back is your lack of experiance with LL and limited hacking knowledge. Keep playing though and that will pass.

bad- trees next to water on beach, the stalls, the tracks at the window, and the bridge doesnt even fit in. the archy doesnt seem to fit either, unless they are sandcastle type shit things.

good- the shape of buildings

I think you need to work on your foliage placement, put a little more thought into it. Where would real plants grow?

Sometimes palmes are @ the beach, aren't they?

Maybe, because last time I checked cacti don't grow on rocks.
