I'm tired of not being able to hear my music on car rides, and always having people yell at me to lower the volume. I need a good set of noise cancelling headphones, so I can hear my music clearly on airplane rides etc., while having a lot of comfort for long periods of time.
I was looking @ the Sennheiser PXC 250 Noise Canceling Headphones, but they have this annoying battery pack which would be really annoying to carry around.
So leave your suggestions. Thanks! -

^ I'm willing to spend under $250.
Although, I heard the Boss sucks. According to Amazon. -

I have a pair of headphone that wrap around your head. I think they're Sony, not positive, though. But anyway, I bring my iPod on plane trips and use those headphones and just turn up the volume really loud. Works just as good, and for about $15 you can't go wrong.
Or these, for a few extra bucks (they look cool):
Very comfortable, at that. -

Try the Panasonic RP-HC300 or Bose TriPort. Those are available at Best Buy of Fry's (if there is one near you). I'm not sure about companies that specialize in noise canceling headphones, but since i used to work at Fry's, I picked up on it a bit. -

lol, sound cancling headphones are cliche. the point is that they only filter out certain freqs. you do not want closed headphones, you want open air design. i high recommend sennheiser, i've been using that company for years. amazing headphones. i recommend getting something in the $100-250USD price range and i would suggest that you purchase them from amazon.com.
read the reviews, they are very helpful.
