Omg this looks awesome! I am a huge fan of the metal gear series, i have played and completed the previous three many a time. Now my mind is definetly made up on which console to buy. PS3 all the way!!

I liked MGS2, but snake eater which i bought, is just dull. I got to the first bridge you see in the game (takes about 10 - 15 mins) and i was so bored.

I seriously would advise you to play on. Its an incredible game.

Oh man, the trailer for MGS4 looks fucking amazing. I have beaten the first game. Was a really great and fun game. I just picked up 2 yesterday (what can I say, I'm a cheap bastard... $50 for games is too much), so we shall see if it lives up to the first.

Its not as good. Far too many Cut-Scenes.

What did everyone think of Snake Eater? I've only played that and SOL, but it's far better than it's precursor.

The last Metal Gear I played was on the original NES....

For me, the point of a game is that it's not real, and by producing these more realistic graphics, it's taking the effect away for me. The perfect graphical detail for me is the N64, just perfect. Virtual enough not to be real, and real enough not to be fake.

Yeah, alot of games seem like they are made for good graphics, they kinda forget about the gameplay side.. (RCT3)
