RCT Discussion / BEASTLY QUESTIONS

1.How do you make the water ride tracks disappear/blend with the surrounding water?

2.Put coaster trains on "transfer tracks"?

3.Make a "diagonal" lift hill go through a large loop?

4.Stack those barrels like Iris did (vertically and horizontally)?

    1. Firstly, put RCT in windows mode and open up Beast and click "Begin Special Build Mode". Build your water ride --- then after its finished---click "Build Thru" and raise the water around the track and voila!

2.There's an extensive guide by Batmanfan here; Article

    3. I think you just build up to where you want the loop, open up beast...zero all clearances....build it....and restore all clearances

4.I dont know ask someone else??

ok, coasterMM, lets get started ^_^

First, make sure you have the newest Beast which is v2.3 . If ur not sure or using an older version get the v2.3 >here<.

    now...
    1) This is only working with rapids cos the vehicles travel one RCT unit above the main rail. So build a rapid and put whatever vehicles u want on it...
Now surround the rail with water. Launch Beast and Select 'Zero All Clearances'. Now ur allowed to raise the water over the rapid's rail. Never forget to 'Restore All Clearances' once ur done (and save)

    2) Thats more complex. Enable Special Build Mode, then build a steel-coaster Sation where u want the extra train to be and add only the entrance and the exit. Now change this coaster's vehicle to whatever u like and make sure it's 'powered launch mode'. After uve done that click 'test ride' and immidiately 'close ride' (both only once). The effect is that the train will appear in the station. Now go back to beast and select 'Execute Special Build Mode' ---> 'Sink Scenery'. Turn to RCT and see what happened ;) ...only thing left is 'End Special Build Mode' (<-- important!) and save. Now you can just build a normal rail from a new coaster under the extra train...

    3) uhm... I've never tried that before but if it's not working just use 'Zero All Clearances' ;)

    4) again a more complex one...
Enable special build mode and build a barrel (for example). Now select 'Modify Landscape Options' and set a height for the barrel. Then click 'Execute Special Build Mode' ---> Set Scenery Base Height ...et voila ;) a VERY useful thing. (never forget to end special build mode)

    hope I could help you,
    regards,

posix u can stack same objects by hitting the stack scenery option (the same scenery u want to stack)

the loop and rapids track one are simple just hit zero all clearances after u built what u want to build through, build, then hit restore.

and for the spare train do what posix said except u open and then close instead of testing (reduces error trapper risk cos train takes 60 seconds before trying to move where as test moves it straight away)

Or just press pause, press test, close ride, unpause.

Another BIG question: How did you guys figure all these out?!

firstly there was basically a tutorial on basic stuff on the original site, plus you can just play around with different things, most things are quite obvious after you understand the basic special build mode thingy and how u begin and start it then u just play with the differnt stacking, clearance, and buil thru option.

its pretty simple iPark taught me to merge at the start and then i found a better way etc etc and worked rest out for myself. And now there isn't anything i cant do.........which means my beasting times goes inventing new things.

Who makes these trainers?I mean, how does one hack a game?

I just have the CD, pop it in and play. How was anybody able to get "backstage"?
  • RRP%s's Photo
well before the beast we used a program called winhack to hack the game but it was very complicated so a simple hack like stacking scenery could take an hour to get right. This is why there were only a select few full time hackers like Buster and ipark and then there were small timers like me,WME etc etc.

Certain people take could probably already hack the game and could program set up things so that a click of a button found a hex string and things went on from there....

You have to upload the pcutre to webspace. Try webshots. Once uploaded click "IMG" on the little post thing.
