Hello, everyone. Here's the topic for the project I'll be working on all day, and will hopefully finish today. I'll be updating you constantly, and your certainly free to give feedback.

    Here's the plan, so far:

    http://www.rctd.ft6....roject plan.bmp

It will be scenario, most likely without any rides, and will be about 50 x 50. I'll post a screen when I, uh, actually have a screen to show.

    Here's the first screen:

    you missed the golden ratio
and don't you want to add something small on one of the the golden points (?)

very much reminds me of one of my projects. i also made those lines in order to find the important points and put something there.

    good luck with the project
really looking forward to another screen.

    Here's the second screen:

    http://www.rctd.ft6....a project 2.GIF

The landscape is starting to take shape, and there's some vegetation, and such. It still isn't as much as I had hoped to get done this hour! I didn't even finish everything I started! :( Oh, well.

Can't wait to see the middle of it all!

    Lookin interesting.

After all that time, what have I gotten done? Sleep! I did get a bit more done, though, so here it is:

    http://www.rctd.ft6....a project 3.GIF

It isn't much, I know, but it will all be covered by walls, and a few towers, of more or less equal scale, so you probably won't even be able to see any of it! When it's all done it should look like a castle.

I love all the comments I'm getting!

Anyways, here's yet another screen. I've finished the "middle bit"! Okay, so you can see over the walls, whatever. It's not very good, but I'm not really trying to make it good, so, whatever.

These files are getting big! Only 500kb, but still, it's alot bigger than then 40kb of my first!

Sorry, but none of this really interests me (The foliage is pretty though). The architecture is very plain, and the color is dull (Although this style is bringing memory's back from then). There's just one color, and I don't even like it. I know you are trying to do this in one day, but you can put some more detail in it? Also, please don't flame me. I am just commenting. I know you are one of the first members to this site, and your post count is larger then mine, but I don't think it I deserve to get flamed at because I am a 'noob'.

    (Here comes the flames)

Everyones entitled to there opinion. I like the fact you've done this in a day, it just makes playing the game fun when things like this happen. The last screen has changed my mind as i can see where its going, and i presume you will be adding more detail to it?

zooby: you totally missed the point of this thing XD

I'm not going to flame you! However, I would like to say that it's a castle, in a "gothic" style, and gothic architecture just isn't very complicated, especially not gothic architecture built in less than a day, without any custom scenery!

After 5 hours of work I've constructed everything in my plan! However, there's still a lot of room left on the map. Should I expand what I have? Or just finish up the final few details, and release it?

If I should expand it, what else can I put in?

Also, what sort of rides and stalls would you want to be available for the scenario? Right now all I've got selected is the information kiosk and bathroom!

    Edit: Forgot the screenshot!

    Well... I guess it's... realistic?

Don't really care for it, sorry. The color irks me. The flowers appear to be placed almost in a grid-like pattern. The landscape looks good...
  • cg?%s's Photo
It isn't anything, Hobbes! Just a stupid little thing I'm doing for fun, and only for fun, and which is completely terrible in every way!

    Here it is:

I decided not to add anything more, and just do the scenerio stuff. It's in the "Challenging" group, although I'm not sure how challenging it actually is...

awesome. You should do more of these.

    Plan. Stake. Execute. Upload.

    "daily" parks.

Don't even need to be "full" parks, use a mini bench or something.

Well, I'm thinking of doing another park either next week, or the week after that, which will take 7 days and be 100 x 100 (more or less, maybe). It will be more detailed, probably, and will certainly have more stuff, including, possibly, rides. I'll do twice daily updates, like my hourly updates here, although, I probably won't give away everything this time.

I know it's not the same, but, really, it was very exhausting doing all this stuff in such a short time, even though it wasn't much, and the end results were dissapointing.

Hopefully with a bit more time, and space, I can do better.

Oh, and thanks to everyone who liked it, whether you said so, or not!
