its been really interesting, this month or so ive been with ne, looking at all of the parks in the spotlight and runner up pages, and seeing all of the different styles of parkmaking. its pretty incredible to see how much rct has grown from "dynamite dunes" and "leafy lake" to stuff like "Bijou Magique" and "Rivers of Babylon." and there are always designs and architecture that i could never imagine constructing. i think its awesome. newk

I think that's sorta where I am. Everything I do has a lot of realism in it and I think through all my coasters and make them as realistic as possible. But on a lot of things I go over the top with theming.. as a lot of parks seem to be nowadays.

But I probably think more about realism, so I'll go with that.

		All of 'em.

Sometimes I just build whatever's in my head, which leads to stuff I'm not sure you could even call a fantasy park.

Most of the time I build realistic fantasy parks.

I've always wanted to do a recreation, but I just plain suck at them. Not that it keeps me from trying.

I build (or attempt to build) what I picture in my mind. Whether that be realistic, fantasy, or a re-creation doesn't make a difference to me. hobbes

I love making fantasy parks, gives me a chance to be creative and original. However, for my next solo, i am going to make a big more or a lurch towards 'realism', however there will be a lot of fantasy elements in there too. Kinda like 'fantasy stuff', but make it so it could be possible in real life, at a stretch. But yeah fantasy rules. X250

All of them; although the bulk of what I do is more realistic than some other parks I have seen. Dan

It really depends on what mood I am in; I guess it's like that for other people.

Re-Creations of parks are hard though. If you screw up one thing, you have the whole community coming down on you.

I think you could describe it as building your own imaginary world . .

Xcoaster OfflineProbably some kind of realistic and fantasy. Nearly all the parks I've made probably could be made in real life, they'd probably just be expensive. However, it wasn't until fairly recently that I started trying more to include more real life things (custom supports, etc). Still, it's not something I do enough of. But I always do try and rationalize how something in one of my parks could work in real life. I have a big one in my PT2 entry that I might need to explain, since I couldn't make it so obvious how it'd work without really uglying up the structure.

I've only tried to make one recreation. It was going very well, and I enjoyed it, so I guess I could say I at least like making recreations, even if I don't do them very much. Though a lot of my work has included recreations of buildings and structures, so I guess that's similar too. So I guess my parks could be considered a combination of the three styles.

Other would be the most accurate, I think, as there is no option for "parks that I will never finish". Janus

RMM OfflineI make fantastic ones. Somewhere between there.

Haha same here ^. If only I could finish them fantastic ones.

 Semi-realism would prolly be right.

I like building stuff that does not exist, but making it look like it could realisticly, so I think thats a combo of both Fantasy and Realisum and im very happy with that mix or "style" Kumba
