Related Games / Can I submit a series of RCT3 screen shoot here?

Theese are my first screen shoots submitted here. I've played RCT when the first one is released, but I need your help badly to complete my parks. So teach me, please ;)

This is a overlook of my park. It's a 128 X 96 size snowy one, and there is a giga coaster and mountains. I hope someone develop a snowed tree or something, or let me know where I can find it if it is already developed.

I like a realistic park, but I'm not sure mine is looks like.

This is a lake, waterfall, and a giant over-banked curve and its supports.
There is a wooden house on the hill, either.

    I close-uped the upper one.

And this one is taken at aother angle.

    P.S.
I'm not a English native speaker, so let me know if i using a ridiculous word or
    phrase, either ;)

well the layout looks pretty good, however most, if not all, of your supporting is wrong by the looks of things. My only suggestion to help that is look a t pictures of real gigas to get the supports right.

    www.rcdb.com is a good resource.

as for the rest, architecture looks good but like you said the whole screen is hampered by the fact there are no snowy trees

the first screen almost killed me
    but cool design

the supports on this banked curve look strange... they dont touch the ground or what? looks strange

It looks very cool, but most of that is the graphics. The layout looks neat, although I'm not sure how realistic it is. IMO, that shouldn't stop you though.

Your main "problem" is that you have a coaster in a nicely landscape mountain area... and about a billion trees. There's really nothing else.

Try making a little village area, or a romantic waterfront by the lake with a little port or some docks, a shopping area, maybe a restaurant or two.

Up in the mountains, you could create a ski village or just a really nice chalet. Perhaps a couple of supporting flat rides would add variety as well.

and there is a tree in the middle of the lake (first screen)
  • JKay%s's Photo
I think this would be great if the trees weren't so evenly spaced out and there were more structures/attractions to offset the coaster. Snowy trees would be stellar here too.
  • Toon%s's Photo
Start by removing the trees on the top 1/3 of the mountains.
  • Akasha%s's Photo
Looks nice from what I see. But like Toon said, don't place trees on te mountain tips. And put in some varied land-types. The coaster looks neat!

I don't think trees grow on 95 degree slopes.

RCTFAN / thanks to recommand a resorce. i enjoyed it and changed some of supports.

thirteen / they ARE touching the ground, i think, but it looks like because of the angle of the shoot. ah, they're touching the edge between lake and the shore.
and i removed the tree in the middle of the lake.

Corkscrewed / reflecting your opinion, i trying to make a sort of resort. but it's to hard to make a building on a slope! thanks, anyway.

JKay / I really wanna know what i have to do with my trees. please give me some solution.

thanks for all of your suggestions, I removed milions of trees and varied the land
texture, and made some buildings and station.

but i still dont know what should i do with my left trees. i think mountains must have trees, but the snowy texture and the green tree dont go with well, and i dont wanna change the land texture.

    is there any reasonable solution?

if there aren't any snowy trees, then leave the snow for the top of the mountain (if you still want to have it), and make the rest grass/rock with the green trees.

Love the colors, and I think the supports are fine, for a fantasy style ride.
If you're going for accurate/realistic, then yes, you'll need to change them.

But I really love these screens, even if they're over-treed and unrealistic terrain wise.

    For the trees...

For starters stick with a few types like you have, but maybe another kind with a different shape, or a bush if there's a nice looking one. Create tighter pockets of trees close together and leave more space in between. Avoid placing trees where the slope is more severe and put more where it's flat. And keep them off the summit altogether. Maybe a stream or other water element would be a nice touch.

Imagine the scene you could create.
