I'll be away on foreign exchange next year so I'm buying a laptop for $1500... It's an Acer Aspier Intel D, 120 GB HD, 2 GB Ram and Radeon X1200 that runs Oblivion just fine on Medium settings... who the fuck needs 4 video gards? fuckin jesus... there's nothing that even requires that much processing power right now... and for 10,000 dollars you better be getting a terrabyte...and that said 160 gb or something.... that thing better be crammed with porn for it to be worth it buddy

i'm getting roughly the same but making it myself and it is a whole fucking lot cheaper. I purchased an alienware before and i'm happy with it, but can't help feel that i could have gotten more for the same price.

Does the extra two or three seconds you save launching a program faster really matter that much?

Does the consistently 60 fpm experience that much better than a game that drops to 45 every once in a while?

Can't you build this yourself for cheaper than they're selling and totally avoid getting a computer that looks like it wants to be on fire?
