It looks good but I just can't seem to get into it. Maybe it's the unfinishedness or maybe it's the randomness. I'm not really sure but something is off and prevents me from seeing what you are really attempting to do in the park. To tell you th truth, even the color change doesn't fix it although it does make it a little better.

I'd like to see the finished though. Keep going and maybe your ideas will come into focus.

I see black, grey, and brown.

How about some real colors? Like some flowers to lighten it up... or better yet, more trees.

It has been said better late than never. Well I am 16 minutes late (Ohio time) for the update meant for July 24. Oh well i guess were gonna have 2 updates today.

This is a teaser but some parts are still unfinished

I hope I am not showing to much, still these screens really aren't too revealing

You don't know how to give us a finished screen, do you? :p

What's there is nice, but there is something missing, and I just don't know what it is...

    It looks really cool!

Only two screens, but its not bad at all.

The use of trackitecture is good. I normally don't like the look of it, but it blends in well with your work.

I agree with gwazi, there is something missing.

The big black bar at the bottom might be it. Maybe add some sort of iron type gate thing over it?

    Either way, it looks great.
    keep it up!

Is it possible for me to claim intellectual rights to the word 'trackitecture'? :D Royalties would be nice...
  • AquaMan%s's Photo
something in the last screen is missing like gwazi and saxman said but other then that it kinda makes me want to play some LL again
  • Corkscrew%s's Photo
The area kind of lacks greenery if you ask me,
adding some small squares with trees and such would really spice it up a little.
Coaster and archy look good so far.

Good luck with the design : )

Too much of a clusterfuck for my taste. The building forms and variety are nice, but everything's so close together that it's hard to really get into the atmosphere of it.

The reason everything is so close is because its a castle (at least in that screen)

Excuse the double post. Just a quick status update--

I am still working on this, I just plan on taking a quick week or so off on the work on this (Thats why you havent seen any recent updates). Currently the work on this is about 55%. When I resume work I plan on wrapping up the castle and all the other architecture inside the fortress. As soon as I start working I will hook you all up with a new screen

It needs some sort of color. Flowers would help it alot. Yeah, I understand it's a fortress, but this is a theme park, it still needs the right atmosphere. There's nothing in sight to make me think of anything other than a bunch of crammed buildings.

I have to agree with eman.

I understand that it's a fortress, and the buildings are tightly packed. However, due to this, the variety of styles conflict with each other. This is past eclectic and into randomness. There are few common elements shared between structures, and the variety of textures spans too wide a range.

    Just my two cents.

IMO the Egyptian walls kill it, and to some extent the brick walls in addition to the combo of gray and brown. The form and shape is good; just the texture needs a bit more consistency.
