We got some X-Games fans on this site, right?

I'm not really into skating anymore, but anyone just catch Andy MacDonald's run? Fucking crazy, lol.

Eh, the only skateboarder worth watching in anything is Rodney Mullen. I used to be into X-games, but for whatever reason I just stopped caring about skateboarding, moto-x, etc. It is amazing what some of those guys can do though.

There is so, so much more than the X Games. The X Games are just boring now. It's a pleasant little diversion but there is no progression going on there. It is boring. I'd take a good film from TGR or Matchstick over Shaun White's 3rd Slopestyle gold in a row or whatever (I realize that's a winter thing but still). I wonder if some of these guys are in it for the right reasons.

The X Games haven't mattered for a good 5 years or so. Or maybe that's just for me.

i watched this one guy one a dirtbike do a jump. they called him the flyin' hawaiian, or something.
then i changed the channel.

i haven't seriously watched the xgames in like four years or so. it's still kind of neat, though.

The X-Games are odd because I never think about them and almost forget they exist, until I flip to them on ESPN, which is when I basically stay glued to the TV until the next day.

I don't know, I mostly just watch them because they're still kind of interesting even though when I watch them I don't pay much attention.

Eh, not really. The Olympics started out as pure competition for competition's sake. The X Games are there to make money for ESPN.

Did Shaun White land a 1080 on the skateboard? I don't watch the X-Games, but I saw a commercial that said he was going to attempt it. Don't know when, but it would be pretty cool since Tony Hawk's 900 was the biggest thing since the Kicktwist McFlipperoo Down a Stairwell Upside Down. Or whatever.

Shaun White looks exactly like Thurston Moore in his younger days.
