Yeah. Its too damn easy for anyone to sign up a hotmail/yahoo account. Thats why myspace has always been mad creepy, and facebook was at least controlled. Now, it just disturbs me..

It hasnt been college for a while. They let high school kids in last year, and now anyone who wants it. Damn bastards are selling out for ad revenue.

Fortunately, you can screen accounts and allow certain categories to only see certain parts of your profile, and whatnot. It's not wide open like MySpace.

Although I agree that opening it up to everyone will probably mess it up a bit. But hey, if you're the Facebook people, of course you take money over exclusivity.
