    nice work dude.

    i love it all.
can't wait to see it finished.:)

Wow, that's cool! I don't think i'd have the patience to make caves and tunnels like you have, that's gonna look sweet when/if it's finished.

    Love the colours too.

Dude, that reminds me of that one ride at the Circus Circus hotel in Vegas, but it wasn't inverted, it was more like a corkscrew coaster. I think it was called the Canyon Blaster or something, but I forget. Anyway, you should make it look canyon-ish. That would be the icing on the cake! Still, it's freakin' sweet! Keep up the good work! (Wish I had the money to spend on that kind of stuff...)

I guess there should be something other than good said about this (no matter how well executed - such as yours). Why is it that you didn't combine the supports next to the arches so that there'd be less "chaos" to be seen? Also, what is the red tubing, where'd you get it, and are you going to repaint it (we all know it would look out of place if it stayed red)?

From the original screens 'til now, I'd say this has made a much better impression since. Kinda makes me wanna start something.

Which arches do you mean? The ones where the path goes over the track before the brake run and then over the first drop?
As for red tubing,im guesing you mean the thing at the bottom of the lift hill. Its a shampoo bottle with the base and top cut off.It will become part of the landscaping once ive made the lift hill walkway which will run inside it.

Not got a video of it yet as theres a few clearance problems that keep coming up,although once theyre fixed again ill post one.

As for 'canyon-ish' i will be painting it in that sort of theme, although more of a florida disney sea mountain by vtd than a brown one

^ The helix next to the batwing.
  • RRP%s's Photo
oh,i didnt combine them as it would have meant that the center support would have had to have very long horizontal poles in order to reach the track.also those supports hold the track up inside the mountian (station to lift and dive from zero g roll to batwing).tbh i think the other helix is much more cluttered

Coolest thing I've seen done with Coaster Dynamix, I can't wait to see this finished. :) I could never really be tempted to buy a kit because of the weird pacing the models have.

ye i know what you mean, however if you make the elements large enough for the train to just complete each one it makes it more convincing

It's consuming that room. Will you be able to move it if you ever need to? Next thing to do (after it's painted) is to get some railroad model stuff like people and folliage and add that. Also you can get stone texture and grass texture sprays to go over the spray paint to put the finishing touches on. I am thouroughly impressed.

The model breaks into 4 smaller boards as at each joint the track has a joint in both spine and rails, the only thing tat will need to be dismantled to move is the lift hill.Ive already got some scatter for grass/mud/rocks/shale and have laid some already although you probably cant really tell from the screens as ive only laid a single colour layer so far.I also have fencing from the lift hill and break run and for all the path parts and immitation tarmac sheeting.Just need to find some cheap 0 guage trees :)

Pretty cool. On the inverted coaster, what is that funky element before/after (not sure which, but it right next to) the batwing. It's like a twisted corkscrew of messed-up-ness.
  • RRP%s's Photo
before is a zero-g roll that would pull -g since it cuts inwards and after is just a helix
  • Cocoa%s's Photo
Oh. It looked strange. That makes sense.
  • Ling%s's Photo
That must take a hell of a lot of patience to do all that wooden support-work. On that you have my compliments.
