If you're not into military aviation, then this is a video of Russia's flagship fighter jet. It's got a system called "thrust vectoring", where the jets the power the aircraft are rotated, allowing it to turn tighter, even on the spot.

This is a highlight video, demonstrating this jet's unique capabilities.

Fucking badass, the way it moves. It does things that are normally considered uncontrollable, such as rotate 360* on its axis, standing still, without losing altitude, or fly directly backwards by flipping in the air while still going forward.

The Brits have been able to do something similar for a long time with their Harrier jet, so that's nothing really new, just a different take on the concept. One thing you definitely want is an experienced pilot in that jet.

Harriers aren't even close to the same thing, sir. The only thing (non-prototype) close to it is America's F-22.
