Now this is one of the games I believe is going to live up to it's hype. I loved the first one and it's amazing what they can squeeze out of the good ol' PS2. It looks just so freakin' cool and epic.

Good job preordering. That thing's gonna fly off shelves when it comes out. I preordered GoW 1 back when it was supposed to be released, but the shitheads at GameStop frigging lost my preorder slip and my address. So I went out and bought it. Was worth it. This looks insane too.

I almost signed up for the free demo at GameStop. I think that's what I'll do when I'm out there again.

PREORDER! What? That ruins all the fun! I go out and hunt for new releases, a few days before there release date sometimes, way more fun to get stuff that way. I got RCT2 5 days before it came out by driving around to a few shops and if you ever heard that rumor, yeah it did give the store an error saying I had to be 99 years old to buy it, lmao.

I saw the ads for God of War, looks amazing and if it mixes history in well im sure id love it, maybe after my solos done I'll check it out.

Actually, because I pre-ordered my GBA I got it 2 days before the official release date.
Anyway I'd really like to play GoW2, but..... it's coming out here one whole freakin' month later because for some reason it's hard to ship it to europe simultaniously or something

Damaged merchandise is often sold as used.

yeaup, i had a 360 that already had demos and all on it.
it was used because the power brick made this weird ass noise.
but they sold it as brand new.

took it back though, and got the madden bundle for nothin.
but yea god of war II looks great. havnt played it yet though.

holy shit titan mode is fucking hard. that first level colossus guy kills you in like one hit.

You might want to start out with the first one then and see if you like it. It's platinum, so it's cheap. One warning though, the game is quite challenging even on normal mode (there's two modes higher than that) and it can be highly frustrating at points and that right from the start. There's one part of the first level that is particularry frustrating (for who played it, I mean the pushing of the box with archers firing at you... though it's not as hard as the pushing the cage up a slope while being attacked).
I've played all PoP games and finished them as good as all (didn't finish 3D and I still have to do the final battle of T2T). As far as the comparison with GoW goes, PoP is way more focused on platforming. GoW is very cool because of the fights. Some fight can be extreme chaos (which is a good thing most of the time btw)

GoWII is according from what I've heard longer than the first one (which wasn't very short to begin with). It's comes with two DVDs (one 5, one 9) , because it couldn't be fitted on one disc if you included the bonus features (the DVD5 disc). The game itself is 6.87GB.

oh man that part was such a bitch, i hate those fucking enemies. also the desert was kind of weak, too.

anyway, the game comes on one disk, the bonus features come in another. i don't think it's necessarily a super long game--there are certainly longer (i mean, i beat it in a couple of days). i think it's more the fact that there's a lot of shit going on and the developers took full advantage of the system in order to make this game, thus boosting the size of the game.
