this is from a recent korean starcraft pro-graming event.
i want to know the artist or song names of the second background song in this vid.

first there's the op, with yellow-ish 3d animations and some player portraits.
then they switch and show the stage and the players. THAT is the music i want.

Can't help you with the song, but do you know why the fans cover their faces whenever the camera shows them?
Seems a bit... strange. Different culture I guess.

The song does sound good, so I wouldn't mind knowing it either.

in some cultures there's a belief that a photo can steal one's soul, maybe it's a video camera for these people.

about the hiding one's face thing,
that confused me too when i first saw it.
i have two theories.
one is that asian's are generally very shy and reserved people and are simply "afraid" of seeing their head on tv.
the other is that they do not want people to see them due to reputation. i know that starcraft and the progaming leagues around it are a huge business in south korea where players are given literally celebrity status, but seeing as it evolves around a game, i could imagine parents trying to get their children away from it. especially because upbringing and education of the young is so incredibly strict in korea. even worse than japan or china.

anyway, i hope one of you will know.

Huh? The first result on google says it's: Saosin - I Wanna Hear Another Fast Song. Searching for that song on youtube appears to confirm this.

PS I don't try to be such a smart ass, it just comes naturally.

saosin is the correct band and supposedly they called this song "i wanna hear another fast song" at some time but have redone it now as "sleepers" on their current album from 2006 called after themselves "saosin".

most people would say self-titled posix. and i never claimed it was coheed i merely said it sounded like them. its not like i'm some big coheed fan in fact i haven't listened to them in probably 3 years so cut me a break.

Wow, i thought one of the many people with Saosin Avatars would have gotten this one.
