If you're in England and even have the vaguest connection with rock, then you'll have seen/heard the hype around these guys.

I got into them about 2 years ago as they are a local rock band, and have seen them at Islington a good while back. Naturally, I was strongly anticipating this album, and the wait was definately worth it.

I can't really describe what I love about it without listing every single aspect of their music.

I really respect the band because they aren't putting on an act or anything, you can kinda see their personalities through their music, they are just some guys have a fucking lot of fun making music they wanna do. I see too much stuff that doesn't do that anymore.

One thing I really love about them is how Southern (UK) they sound, it's pretty funny. No whiny voices, proper raw southern vocals, that especially works with the line "do this one more time and i'll bite your fucking fingers off"

Best tracks? Near impossible to determine. It's the kinda album you dont really determine a best track and sometimes skip to it. You just wanna hear the whole album as it was made. The interludes work really well in helping this and it all comes together brilliant, considering how diverse it is.

But, if I must...my 3 favourite are probably..."sorry, you're not a winner/no sssweat/ok time for plan b" But any of the songs could be in there.

Finally, I'd like to mention to those that aren't aware, to to highlight it to those who are, that these guys had big money offers from major record labels and turned them down to start up their own label and release their stuff themselves. Not to mention, they produced and recorded their own stuff, which is pretty rare these days.

Great work guys, nice to see some bands going in the right direction which is more than can be said for many (ie. funeral for a friend, lostprophets)

I have to agree Metro. I got hold of this album the other week and I was extremely impressed, every song is amazing.

If any of you do see it in your local records shop definetly get it. You won't be disappointed.
