This is yet another unfinished solo from me, but I've got another one on the works, which should hopefully be finished.
This was advertised in the AD, and the reason i never finished it was because of the last two areas. I kept cancelling them and restarting them with a different theme. The back of the park I love, there are two almost complete areas, and the asian area I'm incredibly proud of. I'm proud of the Phago's Flight coaster as well. The best layout I've ever made and it's interaction with the rapids are beautiful IMO. It came out just as I'd planned. So, I'm releasing it unfinished out of shear pride of what I did manage to complete lol.

Hey Jon,
too bad you didn't finish this one. It was a very pleasant looking park, although I thought the Accelerator was a tad bit repetive... It was like... Bückel, bückel, bückel... and bückel, lol. I also doubt Intamin would ever build a launcher with such a long layout, i can only imagine what terribly slow dispatching and huge lines it'd have.
But regarding what you were going for, I think you could never manage to obtain the same proportion of interaction with the rapids ride as with this longer version, so nevermind I guess : )
P.S.: Seriously, Accelerators are so damn hard... I've been trying to find a decent track layout for my custom Wingwalker (LL) for quite some time now, but I can't get any further than a Rita clone with an extra camelback and inline-twist, lol.Edited by Corkscrew, 17 July 2007 - 03:44 AM.

Ah, my good old friend Corkscrew. Good to see you back on here. Thanks for the comment, but in relation to the coaster:
I've never really been one for building coasters realistically until very recently. I think it was another factor in me scrapping the park. I've been playing around with a few coasters, experimenting with more realistic layouts and stuff and incorporating more accurate custom supports into them, and it's been really beneficial to my parkmaking. It's not shown here, cos as I said, I wasn't very realistically minded when I built this thing.
I've always find Accelrators easy to build though, but I see what you mean about them getting repetitive.
Oh, and check your PM's. If your not back here for awhile, chances are I'll catch you MSN again soon.Edited by jon, 17 July 2007 - 04:31 AM.

hey guys ^^ !!
Took a very brief look at the park this morning before i scuttled off to work, it was so-so, i really liked the idea for the swamp but the rest of the park seemed a little uninspired. probs a good call to start a new project. maybe the reason you find it difficult to finish parks is because you don't find enough sources of inspiration before you start building? -

I remember when you showed this park in the ad district.
This park was looking very nice... -

As soon as I saw this, I thought it needed to be finished. I liked it though. What was there was very good, and the architecture was excellent. Too bad you couldn't finish it. -

The foliage was so-so... I loved Phago's Flight overall but the part where it reaches 6-7mph on that last hill sucks. Nice archy and some good rides, though. I'll be looking forward to whatever your next project is (and as deano said, hopefully with more inspiration!)
