    Yasunori Mitsuda for me. Only composer (outside of video game genre as well) where I can highlight every song in my playlist, hit play, and not be disappointed by anything (219 songs). What is everyone's personal favorite video game composer?

    Well, you have to start with Nobuo Uematsu. A lot of what he's done would seem outdated now but he's the first composer for video games that really warranted name recognition.
