Anyone who's chatted with me on AIM already heard me rant about the wonder that these are but if you're a doubter just hear me out:

it's worth the $50-100 to get a pair.

I bought these: http://www.bestbuy.c...p;skuId=6255438, and am amazed by the improvement in sound quality over everything else available to me. Maybe they're not technically very good but since I've had basically nothing in my household that can play back things with exceptional quality I'm simply blown away.

Let me put it this way: sure they cost me $65; however, they added anywhere from $1-4 value to every recording I own (depending on the medium and original recording quality). Thinking of it that way they'll have paid from themselves by the end of this week.
