Haven't listened to this one in a while.

It's a very good album, but the drums can be so obtrusive sometimes. Despite the production, I think it is definitely their best because the songwriting is the strongest.

    Anyway, aye or nay?

The only album of theirs that I put on anymore is We Have The Facts And We're Voting Yes. I think the production makes that album (Something About Airplanes), though I haven't listened to it in a while.

I don't have much Death Cab in my library, but I adore them. Something About Airplanes is a great album, and I think I might only have it cause you uploaded it before, postit. It's definitely better than Plans (although I Will Follow You Into the Dark is probably one of my favorite songs ever). I really need more of them.

I didn't listen to Something About Airplanes as much as their more recent albums, but I can't say I like it as much.
Bend to Squares was decent, but in general I think the album was far too repetitive and forgettable.

But I haven't listened to it in a while (for that reason...)

plans was pretty bad. it's what made me start to shy away from death cab.

Agreed with the comments on Plans.

I also have Transatlanticism, which is a bit of a mixed bag for me. The production is nice, especially in comparison with Airplanes, though a bit too slick at times with Expo 86. I have to say, though, Tiny Vessels and Transatlanticism are probably my favorite two Death Cab songs. There are some nice nuggets in between here and there, and while the album flows nicely, I can't help but feel like a decent chunk of it is filler.

haha, Steve. I forgot that I did upload this way back when! I'm so repetitive...

I do need to check out the albums that split the difference, though.
