Yes, it is true. I'm moving to Largo, Florida on June 25.
    Let's just say I got a job offer I couldn't turn down.
The only problem is that driving from Colorado to Florida will cost me $50,000. :D
    Darren, we're going to BGT.
It's so cool to see this site still alive. Its almost like finding an old friend. I love NE. -- show me some love

Congrats on the job and move, bro. Sucks about the 50 grand though. Good luck down there.

 Sorry buddy, but for all I know I have a wife somewhere (really, I am worried about that!) and I don't have anything against men or, gay people. I think I will just spend this summer in Miami, if I can.

Have fun in the sunshine state Jeremy, but don't get to big headed about tracking me down.
  • riven3d%s's Photo
Woah... Largo? where? as that is where I am.
  • Evil WME%s's Photo
hah! good to hear from ya!

how does moving equate to 50,000? which is still like 35k to me, although the dollar will probably be worth next to nothing soon. And you didn't even call it moving, which could let in some kind of house upgrade costs.. but driving! amazing haha. You gotta explain that one to me. I hope to make that much money in a few years, in a year haha.

    Anyways, how are you?

Chances of you still really getting into NE/RCT are getting really slim, aren't they? I mean, florida, it's damned hot there how the hell does anyone play a video game inside.. when you could be sitting at the beach >_<.
  • JKay%s's Photo
Darren, don't get married. It's extremely overrated. And don't worry if you aren't interested in going to BGT, I'll just go with my buddy and his 3 gorgeous single female friends. No worries. :D

What happened to sarcasm on NE? My goodness. It's not going to cost me $50k to get to Florida. That was just my pitiful attempt at a joke about gas prices. It really will only cost me $400 to drive out there. I'm leaving on June 24th and quite looking forward to it.

And if any of you get bored, check out some of my music at http://www.broadjam....?artistID=59873

I only have two songs posted with more coming soon. Comments welcome.

I think we were thinking moving fees. :p

Have fun in Florida. People there can't drive. :D (then again, same can be said for Cali)

What do you use to make the beats?

They're pretty good and change enough to keep my attention. Would be pretty sick with some lines spit over the top, though it might be too glossy for that. Dunno. I like my beats rawww. Keep up the work brah.

i could say that i am not really a sarcastic person myself, and thus wasn't able to grasp what you were getting at.

    but who am i kidding?

i had a better response just a second ago but i'm most positively sure i forgot it.

get your ass online sometime, i want to catch up.. and those three single female friends (whom are hopefully significantly older than me, because that seems to be the one sure thing to catch my interest in women..) ... get them to amsterdam. And ofcourse, i do realise your sarcasm there. But i do believe that returning anothers sarcasm in serious manner is a sport.

    I fail at humor :(

Thanks pbob. I guess I never told anyone about my recent computer upgrade. I invested $4,000 into this setup, which I've found suitable for my needs so far. My hardware setup is a Dell XPS 630, Intel Core2 Quad Core processor(2.40Ghz,1066FSB), 4GB RAM, 480 GB HD, a Yamaha YPT-310 Keyboard, Echo Mia MIDI audio w/ 4 analog inputs/outputs. My software setup is Cakewalk Sonar 7 Producer Edition with all the trimmings. I'm still learning Sonar 7, which is by far the most complex DAW I've ever used, so progress can be slow at times. I also have an extensive wav sample library now (over 150GB).

The two beats I posted on Broadjam.com are actually older. I did them using my old system on Magix Music Editor (which is not studio quality) but I still think they are decent. I have about 40 other beats at my disposal (which hardly no one else have heard except me) ranging from raw hip hop to ambient, electro, trance, drum'n'bass, chillout, etc. I plan uploading more beats soon (hopefully to get some more exposure) along with investing in a controller and/or midi pad, turntables when I get the money.

^WME. Yeah man. Its been a long time. I still plan on getting out to Amsterdam some day, and I guess you could say I'm on my way by moving to Florida, ha. Although I promised my brother I'd go to Australia if ever he moves there, so that comes first :(. Anyway, once I get settled here in a few weeks, I plan on visiting AIM and NE more often :)

I had no idea that you had any sort of musical talent, JKay! If you ever get an album produced, I'll definitely preorder it. The vocals in the middle of Paradise in Tune made me laugh my ass off though, since they're so incredibly personal and completely unexpected. The only music I've ever made is just total garbage in Garage Band using prearranged beats to help cure my boredom and I'm completely out of the loop as to good modern music.

So I have arrived in Florida, the land of sunshine, humidity, unsafe vehicles, horrible drivers, no state income tax but high sales tax, alligator molestors and a fuck load of old people. Wow. I like it here though. Its the change I needed from Colorado, not to mention the bi**ch I've left behind :)
I went to BGT last Saturday. Bad choice. The lines and heat were insane. We only stayed 5 hours (only rode 4 coasters :( )and I was with my friend who has young children who couldn't ride all the rides. But, We waited for 1 hour to get on Sheikra, during which half was in the sun so I was already sweating bullets. The ride is amazing (all 30 seconds of it)but the god awful queue time wasn't worth it. oh well. We also did Qwezi which give me a headache. Kumba was closed for repair :(. Scorpian was fun but that last helix made me spins baddd. And we did Montu last, which was the best ride of the day imo. Loved every bit of it. so, yeah, dismal day, but I bought an annaul pass to BG, SW and Adv Island so I will be going quite often now. Going to AI next. Darren, hit me up if you want to meet up at BG sometime.

Oh, and I've posted some more tracks on my Broadjam http://www.broadjam.com/jkproductions
check'em out. Hip hop and electronic mainly

LMAO on the comment about the drivers. I like it tho, it's like running an obstacle course and in the 8 years I have been driving I still have never hit anyone, tho once an old man cut across 3 lanes and nailed my rear door.

Also BGT is always croweded on weekends, infact it will be everyday this time of year. Let me know when you come to Miami, I'll pay for the gas if you pay for the food (I live right next to all the good parts of town ;) ).
