to be honest i think it's a crime to recreate a gaudi building. it will never be accurate(since there gaudi never really used square pieces or corners in his buildings) and to really pay an hommage to Gaudi you should build in his spirit. he never recreated something, he looked at natural forms and implemented them in his buildings. he reproduced rather than recreated(don't know how to put it). i think penguinbob made an (unfinished) park like that once, with a gaudi-esque area.
but if you do want to recreate the sagrada it's a good shot at it. maybe you can make the turrets more spiral looking if you put the windows at different heights and make diagonal lines with some art deco blocks though.

Milo - Thanks, I know about the brown, which is a pain, but it just has to be that colour.

    Sey - Thanks :)

Levis - haha, thanks, but what are you talking about? Some of your one colour buildings are beautiful :) And trust me this is big enough as it is.

    JJ - haha :p

Akasha - if it's a crime to recreate gaudi's work, then how come architects are doing that right now whilst working to finish La Sagrada Familia? This isnt a hommage to Gaudi, this is just something i've always wanted to do as La Sagrada Familia is so breathtaking. Thanks, im trying my best.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is more of a verbal update, as screens are too unfinished to post, but I like to keep people updated.

There is more to the park than the Sagrada Familia, its just that this building is such a massive project in itself that this is kinda gonna take center stage.

Basically like the real thing this will eventually have 18 towers and 3 facades.

Each facade represents a stage in Jesus' life, there's the Nativity facade (which is complete, and is the facade that is fully built by Gaudi), the Passion facade (which is almost complete but only has a few bits built by Gaudi shortly before his death), and the Glory facade (which hasnt even been started yet).

Each tower represents an important person from the life of Jesus etc.
One for each of the 12 apostles. 1 each for Mathew, Mark, Luke & John. 1 for the Virgin Mary & 1 for Jesus himself.

I guess this doesnt really have anything to do with the project as such, just I found this quite interesting :p

But all 18 towers have been built, I just need to detail them and then I can get on with finishing the facades and then on to the rest of the building.

Once this beast is out of the way, more of the park will be revealed.

Thanks for all the comments so far, they are greatly apreciated. :)

I was there 2 weeks ago, a beautiful building..
I thougth: can I make a remake in rct2? I think it is impossible.
This looks nice but it doesn't look like on the real one.
I mis the statures on the part under the (ligth)brown edge and can't remember me the window's there.
The top of the towers have more colors.

I think you do it good but this building is so hard..

    good luck with it.
When you need a picture you can ask me on RCTMajesty.

I think it's a really good attempt for RCT. It's kind of impossible to get it really accurate. I think the tops of the towers need a bit of work, though. As snas says - the real building has colourful top bits:

I would try to incorporate as much colour as possible, since there's so much brown otherwise.
Keep it up though, it'd be amazing to see the whole thing done!
