I really like this list. It wouldn't match mine, but they're all fantastic songs. And I'd have the problem that the list would have 3-4 Radiohead, at least 3 Beatles songs and the rest be Pink Floyd if I don't limit myself to one song per band. Oh and great calling on Falling Slowly. I had no idea what that song was called, but it's fantastic.
Mine... No particular order (note different bands)...
Impossible Germany - Wilco
New Slang - The Shins
Third Planet - Modest Mouse
Positive Tension - Bloc Party
Wake Up - The Arcade Fire
Ramble On - Led Zeppelin
In My Life - The Beatles
So Come Back, I'm Waiting - Okkervil River
Comfortably Numb - Pink Floyd
Let Down - Radiohead
Okay, Led Down is my 2nd favorite Radiohead song after HTDC, but since Steve already mentioned that one I had to cover the other. It should be noted that I mean this purely referring to the studio versions. Let Down doesn't work nearly as well live...
Interesting to see the lists here... So all over the place. Also, HI ED!
