A fairweather fan is someone who roots for a team that is doing well, regardless of whether or not you like them or if they're you're home team.

Not particularly. If anything, when I have no real interest in either team, I tend to root for the underdog.

It's pretty much impossible to be a fairweather NC State fan since we perennially suck it up, so no. We have sold out our stadium of about 60,000 for the past 8 years, and we keep coming back despite losing records.

Fairweather fans are the biggest pricks in the world. Actually, no, bandwagon fans are worse.

I only root for my home teams. Granted, if they're doing badly I probably won't follow them, but that's just because I don't care much for sports in general. It's not like I'm cheering for someone else in their place.
