Group chats have proven to be of great help when makings decision about the site. I still remember we discussed the H2H5 rules in great length in the NEChat a few months ago. While a few things need to be discussed by geewhzz and I alone, other topics are much more fruitful if various opinions can be heard and valued.
The problem is that it's hard to gather many people together at the same time. Therefore, what I'd like is something much like a QQ Group. That's a Chinese instant messenger, not sure if some of you have used it before, that allows to create group chats where, if you sign on, you get everything the group members talked about as offline messages. This is what every instant messenger I know, while allowing regular group chats, misses.
I was wondering if maybe someone knows an alternative that allows "offline message friendly group chats" ?
Thanks in advance. -

Why not use the forums?
That's kind of the idea of forums, to see the messages people posted while you were offline..
Don't know what the advantage is of having a chat program doing the same thing..
I think it's a great idea though, to have more people voice their opinion about a site decision,

^Well the entire point of a chat is the instant-ness of it. Two people can chat and another can log in and read what they chatted about after it happened. -

On meebo chat logs are saved. And you can sign onto aim and facebook and whatever at the same time.
