Hello, Im JaminS_parks and Im new to this site.
I have skills mainly in the game No Limits Roller Coaster Simulator, and have been fairly successful with my coasters.
Heres some of the work I have done recently in NL. All lateral bracing for the wooden coasters were done by hand. A coaster on average, takes me about a month to complete.

I came to this site because I want to improve my skills with RCT2. I have had the game for awhile but downloading parks and the custome scenery aspects are fairly new to me. I came here to learn something. Im trying as hard as I can to get out of this noob stage im in.
Is there anything that I should know if Im "New" to rct2? What other programs help make my parks better? What do they do? Basically, if there is anything I need to know about downloading or creating parks in RCT2 it would be fantastic if any of you could inform me.
I look forward to my time on this site. -

Hey, welcome to New Element
I think what's good to know is the parks that have been released. Definitely check out the Spotlights we have. The majority of them are for RCT2. The older, and a few recent ones, are also for RCT1 (this site began when RCT2 had not existed).
As for "other programs". There are a few trainers people use to create their parks. The most useful is called "8cars". Find it here: http://www.geocities...rs/trainers.htm

It explains what people can win at this site with their RCT creations. -

Thanks man, Im looking into everything. The first thing I did was try and downloading some newer spotlights. On some of them, It says, Error Missing Object data, and then there's something like a file number. I'm not sure what I'm missing or doing wrong.Edited by JaminS_parks, 18 July 2009 - 11:00 AM.

You're missing a ride.
Write down the number, post it here and you'll get the ride.

Yeah, please do tell the id so we can update the zip with the missing dats. (They can just be copied into the rct2/objdata folder) -

Um... I did my best to record the IDs.

I think I got them right? -
