    Hi there!

There's a new Vekoma duelling coaster coming for Universal studios Sentosa in 2010.
And guess what - it's inverted and sit-down duelling! You may have seen that before.

There rides are very rough, and are often times unreliable. This should be an awesome coaster but I wish B&M built it.

As far as vekoma go they do have a reputation for being rough. but they are getting better and rides in recent years have been pretty good.

This ride also features their new track design and will be the first to feature Vekomas new 4 across seating so I'm not going to judge it yet.

One thing ive noticed from the layout models is this ride is a lot more complex than DD. something i liked about DD was how it kept things simple and got the 3 near misses all within perfect view.

    It's even themed to a extremely-popular-within-fanboy-circles sci-fi-TV-show.

Anyways, looks very cool. I agree with ^'s comments regarding Vekoma. They're trying to be the new B&M, while still maintaining some of their uniqueness and 99 cent store image. Kind of a budget B&M/Intamin thing.

Oh, and I had a inverted/standup dueling coaster made the very instant RCT was released.

Here's a lot more on this park...

I think it's pretty interesting because it's pretty similar to a way we would build a Universal park in RCT. I say this because it really does not follow any of the conventions of a standard Universal Park, it's just a bunch of themes around a lake

Do you guys ever wonder if the people who design coasters have kids who play RCT, and that's where they get all their ideas from?

Vekoma Employee 1: Hey, look what my kid made!
VE2: Aw, sweet! We gotta try that in real life!
VE3: Uh, Tim, that coaster has 27 corkscrews...
VE2: You're ruining the moment, Frank!
