Depends on what you have in mind. Throw everything on the map and it'll naturally come up as a design or as a park. -

Seriously can't people in this forum just answer a simple question? if you are not taking seriously the purpouse of a topic, stay the fuck out of this forums.
EDIT: yeah I've seen some posts from this guy, he gets kinda annoying at some point, but that doesn't give you the right to behave like idiots 24/7.Edited by RCFanB&M, 15 February 2010 - 12:03 AM.

Honestly do a small detailed mini (probably about 30x30) and try and detail it as much as possible. Then post it and see the reviews you get on it. If it turns out good, I would do a design.

In all honesty i was expecting some sort of design with like 1 coaster but it was an average park size discussion. But should i put it nicely, i find this person who cant make individual decisions posting this useless crap, for gods sake man, flip a bloody coin if you have too! -

As JDP said, try something small to work on your skill before moving onto bigger things. -

Im a little surprised no one has suggested suicideShall I attempt park or design next?
Don't do that, just try a design or anything else that keeps you from posting here. -

I sugest you start with some micros to test some styles. then go to a 50*50 park to make one or two themed area's
then you can start a full scale park. and during the proces of making the park you can do one or two designs to test some things. -

Maybe you could try something like RCTNW is doing with project aries, only twice as big, for starters?
Sorry.
I say build what you're inspired to build. I started out on a 126^2 solo prior to ever finishing anything and it went good since I was having a blast and was extremely inspired almost all the time. Then I felt like doing a design, so I did. Start on something that keeps you enthusiastic. -

Great Idea, jk
Anyways, I'd start with a park between 30x30 and 70x70 and try and detail it as much as possible. Download some parks from other people for a better view on their parks and some inspiration, come up with new and great ideas for rides in rct. Don't overbuild (as in spend alot of time each day) on one park. You'll loose inspiration on that park and feel the need to rush it, remember that you need to watch your foliage carefully and don't make too much fillers meaning that 50% of your park shouldn't be jagged rocks and poorly placed foliage. Remember to create a good bench though, if your obj data folder is over flowing, then I would suggest using Gee's pt3 bench, but a no custom scenery map should be your start so you can start simple because quarter tiles can be a nightmare to newer and less experienced players, I should know, considering I would always rush parks and pump them with jagged rocks that only someone crazy or old enough would like. If you are having a problem with hacking, don't start a thread. Just look up a tutorial or ask and expert how to use the tool. If you are creating a realistic park, I'd suggest looking up some coasters, rcdb.com is one of the best sites to find information. I have also noticed that you need many objects. We already have overflowing obj data folders, so it would relieve us all if there wasn't any new data unless it was really important. You should be creative and find substitutes for objects. Also, I would not reccomend rct1 for you if you are inexperienced, because it can be REALLY hard unless you are an expert. Anyways, have fun and remember that no one becomes good at the game overnight. I would start small and play for fun and you will see yourself start to imporove, just look at my old parks and I know I still kinda suck at the game, but I have practiced alot and improved greatly the last few months.
