So, just wondering if any of you have visited Australian themeparks and what you thought of them?

Lol me again. I'm going to Australia next April travelling down the east coast for a month. Any theme parks near there that I should take note of?

    Haha :)
There is only 4 good themeparks,
Seaworld, Movie world and Wet 'n' Wild (All owned by the Time warner company)and Dreamworld which has its connecting waterpark.
The only thing is Australia's Seaworld and Wet 'n' Wild are not connected to the American versions at all..
Sydney and Melbourne have no quality parks :(
My all time favourite is Wet 'n' Wild.. which is often considered the 2nd best waterpark in the world.

If you can say what states your going to i can tell you every thing you need to know.

QLD has Movie world, Sea world, Wet 'n' Wild and Dreamworld. Personally MW is the best with Dreamworld 2nd. The best coaster as said is Superman Escape.

NSW has Luna Park (my local) but its a shit hole.

VIC has Luna Park as well which is very old but still has 2 decent coasters.

I have some photos from all of them if you want me to post some btw.

http://www.australia...terclub.com.au/ there alright, really RCDB can tell you more, just go to the tree view.

I personally believe all of Australias parks are crap, compared to parks i haven't been to hahaha

Gold coast is your best bet for decent parks. Movie World has a couple good coasters (Superman and Lethal Weapon) but I also think that Wet n Wild is the best. Went there two days in a row I enjoyed it so much lol.

Luna park is worth (one) visit. Its got a cool atmosphere and some original old rides that you don't see around too often. I actually like the Wild Mouse there. As far as I know its one of the oldest in the world still standing, so its worth checking it out.

Theres also a few smaller parks like Jamberoo (Woolongong) and Magic Mountain (Merimbula) that I've never been too so can't say too much about them. And I have no idea about Western Australian theme parks.
