I have several folders that have several thousands of objects in them. One is mostly winter/Christmas type objects, another contains Asian type objects, yet another is "regular" custom game objects.
I'm looking for the easiest way to find duplicate files and or organize all these objects. I have DatChecker, ParkDat, DatPreviewer, ect. as well as several other utilities but they most only let you see what the objects are and or what type they are.
What would be most useful would be a program like DatPreviewer that lets you sort by object type (ie small scenery, large scenery) then select all of the objects of that type and move them to wherever you would like them. Would make organizing objects a whole lot quicker.
Currently I have to view each object in the previewer, switch to my OS file manager, find that dat in the folder and then move it to wherever. With several thousand objects that takes a looooong time.
Any suggestions? -

Because of the scenery limit I'm afraid its a bit necessary for me. I like building on a theme as the mood strikes me so its necessary to swap in and out objects that aren't needed for the particular build I'm working on.Don't organize them at all. I think it's a waste of time...
Plus, I'm a wee bit OCD so having 10,000+ items all randomly thrown together into a folder would drive me insane. -

Object organisation in RCT2 is one big fiasco. I'm trying to concept a system to have the site do the job at the moment. -

^That sounds awesome! Do you have any further details planned out? Would it be like an online database with a sorting system?
