i keep getting this error report. i've tried reinstalling my drivers and minecraft, but still nothing.

i can run rct and counter strike source fine. this is so fucking annoying, i want to just play the fucking game.

can anyone help?

That actually might be the problem. Have you tried downgrading to 1.2.5 already?

what actually happened was i spent two days with it not working on 1.2.5 then i tried the week 24 snapshot to see if it was a bug. turns out it is a consistent problem that wont fucking go away.

what does accelerate openGL even mean?

I'm kind of afraid to ask, but did you already update your GPU drivers? ;P
What kind of graphics card do you have?

If it still doesn't work:

1.Go to control Panel
2. Go to Display
3. click settings
4. click advanced, a screen will pop up
5. At that screen go to Troubleshoot.
6. There you will see a dragger
7. Drag it on the third point, It will say that all DIRECT3d will be disabled
8. Play minecraft!
