    I nearly finished my Oakland Heights NCSO park, probably on 95%, when I tried to save the game I got an error saying: exception raised access violation, my game froze, I couldn't do anything, now my Oakland Heights park is gone including the save game, everything, gone. Fuck.

    I'm on windows 7 64-bit btw.

    It happens, you're definately NOT the first (same here).
    It can't be prevented, better have multiple savegames to protect yourself from these happenings. ;)

    Is the savegame really gone btw.?

    Gods be praised. It isn't gone. I went to my RCT2 Saved Games folder, right clicked it and went to properties, then searched for previous versions. So I've got my park back, but I need to re-create 1 Roller Coaster ride and a little bit of scenery.

    Well.. at least it isn't lost. :)
    Better make more than one savegame from now on. ;)
