I bought it, and although I realize that Linkin Park is becoming very mainstream, I enjoy thier music anyways. So, I went down to Best Buy and got it. It's only about a half an hour long, but it only costs 10 bucks, American. It's $14 if you want the Limited Ed. DVD with it, but I didn't.

I like most all the songs, but I enjoy "Hit The Floor", "Easier To Run", and "Nobody's Listening" the most.

Did anyone else buy the album?

i hate Linkin Park.

I find it strange that you could feel Linkin Park was becomming mainstream as I don't believe there was ever a point in which it wasn't mainstream.

However, I don't have it and I never will have it, as I don't want it. Nothing of their first album, remix album or the single has made me think anything positive about them.

I cannot even respect them, as I can for many bands and artists I don't enjoy, as there is nothing to respect. They don't have good songwriting, production, playing or vocals.

All it is, is, well, nothing. There just isn't anything there! Maybe if it was even cheaper than 10 bucks, I'd get it, but my next 10 bucks are going towards something worthwhile.

Only 30 minutes long? God, the shortest M is 50 Minutes, and that one has 10 songs.

Seriously, LP sucks, thier new album sounds exactly like the last one, nothing new. Besides, Chester? What is he a squirrel?

I got this cd and it is really great, best linkin park cd yet

I too got the CD, and am listening to it as I type this (Easier to Run right now). The CD's comes out at just over 36 minutes long, and even though it's short, it still kicks ass, I love it. From The Inside and Nobody's Listening are easily my favorite songs (right now, lol). To put it short, Madonna could never top this. Ever.

You are a tasteless prick. This isn't to say that Madonna is the bestest ever, but she has produced some of the best pop music in history (nowhere near the level of the Beach Boys or Beatles or even Radiohead, but still amazing in its own right).

Linkin Park is just a trend-riding overly cliched hunk of junk, with no skill or genuine emotion placed into their music.

Honestly, if you want good melodramtic angst in the form of kick ass hardrock, Minsistry has a new CD out right now! I'd reccomend you get that instead. Their first single (Animosity) is so amazing, Linkin Park would rather kill themselves than to be faced with the challenge of topping it.

After all, they never could top it, while Ministry has an entire album filled with equally great music.

If you want good rap music, you have an entire host of options. One I would especially reccomend is last years Revolverlution by Public Enemy. Loud, fast, and furious.

I have yet to find a redeeming quality in anything involved with Linkin Park.

Unless you like sucky, redundant music. Then Linkin Park is super for you.

I have no shame in saying I own a burned copy of Meteora and a bought copy of Hybrid Theory.

Meteora for the most part is crap, there are some ok songs but it's not as good as Hybrid Theory. The best song is 'Faint', by far.

I got the Bonus DVD one for $15 at my local Target.  I'd say it was worth the extra $5 to get that one.

I havn't got the album, but from what i've heard its shite. A lot of people seem to be mentioning Nobody's Listening. Well, i've heard that song and it's crap. The tune in the background is cool at first but gets boring after hearing it for nearlly 3 minutes straight.

The main problem I find with the songs i've heard however is that there is too much rapping and that ain't my style.

Its really sad that all the music threads here at NE turn into Maddona hating or DUKE hating thread (not that I like DUKE). As for the alblum its like everything else they ever did just a bit shorter, guess they needed some money for drugs or something of that nauture. Thanks bye.
