Ask the Experts / Duel Stations not next to each other

    Hey,
    maybe some expert can help me here.
    I'm trying to make a coaster with two syncronised stations. But I don't want to have them next to each other.
    Is there a simple way to do this? I found out that I could use dummy stations, but then the entrance/exit huts will be in very stupid places. Phatage or Evil WME did it in a different way in Outpost Prehistorica. They put one piece of "Alphavore's" station next to "Omegavore's" station and vice versa. But I have no idea how to make tha game think that both rides only have one station. WinHack probably?

    Yes you need to change the dummy station ids from station 2 to station 1 in winhack

    Yeah, geehwzz is on the money.

    Glad to see someone still looks at Outpost Prehistorica- one of my personal favorites!

    Outpost Prehistorica is underrated. Nobody ever mentions it, so I was surprised at how much fun it was when I checked it out.

    You dont need winhack at all. You can change the station number with a little trick I found out.

    Make the station invisible with gee's method. then place a brake onto the tile at the same height (lower it to the station's height with 8cars). The brake speed corresponds with the station number of the invisible station:

    6 kmh -> station 1
    10 kmh -> station 2
    14 kmh -> station 3
    20 kmh -> station 4

    etc.

    you even can get more than 4 stations on a ride then, however the train gets stuck at a station number above 4...

    Wow thats interesting!
    However, I figured out how to do it with winhack in the meantime, with some help via PM.

    And yes, Outpost Prehistorica is wonderful. Two of my favorite parkmakers combined.

    If you want a really simple way to do the dual station thing, as long as the stations are parallel and relatively close (like pretty much all real dueling/racing coasters with both stations in one building) you can just sink the dummy stations' entrances and exits - the dummy stations are of different rides completely btw.

    I did like how Outpost turned out, especially with your duelers WME, but I always regretted with that park that it was me working on it for a while and then you worked on it for a while (I think we were busy with other things at different times?). I felt like it showed the potential of what could've been if we truly worked together but ended up more being us working next to each other, did you feel at all the same way?
