Hey guys, I'm pretty new here, so first I'd like to say hello!
Hello!
Whew. Now with the formalities out of the way, I would like to inquire as to how one would go about creating a putt-putt course that looks halfway decent.
I'm an avid fan of stand-alone miniature golf courses that you tend to see from time to time in touristy places, and I thought building one in game would be quite fun. Unfortunately, I am not quite sure how to make it look good, since there are only 4 different holes available. Do any of you guys have suggestions or know of projects that have pulled it off?
Merci, gratsi, gracias, tak, danke, and thank you!
(If I did not say thank you in your native language, let me know how, so I can do it properly next time!) -

Check out the one in Virginia Key Resort and Casino by Kumba. Probably one of the best mini golf courses ever, and a great example of how the four standard golf holes can be given unique twists. Hope that helps.
And welcome, btw! -

Take the time to make the path in between holes invisible and replace it with something else. It will look loads better. Kumba's course in VKey is also a good example of this. -

Hands down my favorite and most realistic one I've seen is in stone valley adventure park by prodigy. Check it out!

wow, thanks guys. I would have never seen that part of the park if it had not been pointed out. thanks!
I'm still not used to thinking in terms of zero clearance, so it never even occurred to me to put stuff directly ON the holes...
so yeah, Seeing this gives me a starting point to look at as far as structure goes (using real path, ZC scenery, etc etc etc) and I'm feeling a lot better about my attempt to pull off a putt-putt park thing establishment venue etc. -

even more! thanks! now I'm getting kind of nervous about how my attempt will measure up. I Remember seeing that park, but never looked long enough at the course, and forgot what it was called after a while. that park as a whole, just... wow
