We all knew a Star Wars rebrand of the California Tomorrowland (arguably the worst tomorrowland at this point second only to the TL in hong kong) was inevitable, but its starting to look like TDA is going a little overboard with all of this. 

Standing in the hub and looking east to see a giant millennium falcon as the center piece of the land seems a little much, even for a die hard star wars fan such as myself. Losing Autopia makes sense from one stance, but as one of the few remaining ideas from the 1955 opening lineup I'll be sad to see it gone. I'm pretty disappointed with how far TDA is taking things. Thoughts? 

That's the first I've heard of it.  Overall I'm ok with it, since I really do dislike our Tomorrowland (Japan's feels the same to me, so it gets lumped in with it), and I don't care about Autopia, but I'd prefer if the area kept a bit more variety.  I think I'd prefer if they used Tron as the theme for the speeder bikes, and maybe did something with Iron Man, in addition to all the Star Wars stuff.  Cool that they're adding another coaster though (assuming the speeder bikes are a Vekoma Motocoaster).  The Millennium Falcon location seems weird to me too, it doesn't seem like the right sort of "weenie" for the area, but I'm fine having it somewhere.  I would've preferred if they'd put the Astro Orbitor back there like it had been, and put the Millennium Falcon either where the Astro Orbitor is currently, or where they say they're moving it to (the upper Space Mountain plaza, I think).

Just the other day I was joking around with an Autopia replacement that'd take some ideas from the Star Wars universe..

Yeah unfortunately they're not recycling it, just dozing it. Thats a great render though, sure would be cool in some sort of Ninsey.
