I have yet to see an RCT2 Trainer as well known or as awesome as the DragonsIOA trainer or the Beast trainer for the original. Anyone know of any good ones at the moment?
Thanks. -

There are none. Yet. Every RCT2 trainer to date sucks, with the small exception of the Beast. But, for basic functions like money, entrance moving, land alteration, and shit like that, there aren't any. Going on further than QOTSA's question, why the fuck do all of them have toggling options? -

I agree. Its the best!.......sadly its a ripped-off version of SoB..but I dont care. The hacking are much easier!Get the 8 Cars per Trainer. It has features that the SOB doesn't have...

I was just hoping for a trainer that allowed you to change operating modes on coasters, or at least speed up the lift hill to around 70 mph. A trainer that allows you to put different cars on the track would be cool too. But money trainers and all that shit...you don't need that so much with the scenario editor. -

actually most trainers have the feature to speed up chain lifts to as high as you want -

Actually there was a new release to 8 Cars Trainer after SoB. And It has Merge Tracks, Ride Tools, Park Tools, and other great stuff. You should keep up with your stuff on www.rct2.comActually, 8 Cars came out before SOB, but oh well.....

Their are trainers out there that allow you to do all of this. iamthesponge created a nifty little trainer that allows you to change tracks/cars and speed lift and a lot of other stuff. 8 Cars allows the same, it is very nice to use for hacking basics and a few of the advanced, SoB is great for advanced stuff. But there is a downturn for all of it.I was just hoping for a trainer that allowed you to change operating modes on coasters, or at least speed up the lift hill to around 70 mph. A trainer that allows you to put different cars on the track would be cool too. But money trainers and all that shit...you don't need that so much with the scenario editor.
There is no Drexler patch for RCT2 therefor any change in the mode, cars, number of cars/vehicles, or anything changing the OP mode of coasters will crash the ride, set the down-time on a high level, set reliablity from 99% to 0% in 5 seconds, and it breaks down every minute or two. Did i mention re-newing rides and making them ultra-reliable only works for a couple of seconds then its back down.
SoB has all the hacks and is very good but there is no restore clearance functions, how the hell can you hack without restoring clearance. Whatever you hack will be screwed over with glitches.
Basically, nothing out there is very good unless you are able to restore clearances or a drexler patch (or another patch) is made so switching OP modes won't affect reliablity.

I know that NO, but they had a change car mode and basically the opportunity to add boosters to a ride in 8 Cars before SOB came out.

Whether 8 cars came out before SoB (which it did) is irrelevant. Most of the features in it were there first in the Beast Trainer of which SoB is just an update. SoB took longer to come out so 8cars was the first one to have those features in rct2. There are some interesting features that were new to 8 cars though so I wouldn't call it a ripoff. Every trainer is inspired by those that came before it. I use both when I play RCT2 cause they're both pretty good though even the two of them put together still can't do everything the Beast can do yet. -

Well duh, but the previously version doesnt a lot of things, until SoB came out which is the exact same thing.Actually, 8 Cars came out before SOB, but oh well.....
