He has said much, much, much more idiotic things than that BTW. Anyone ever see his "dangerous coaster facts"? I could dig some stuff up for you guys if you want. There was also a huge petition against his bill composed at TN that got around 5,000 to 6,000 signatures.



There is also (according from what I have heard) a 6-G coaster limit in New Jersey as a result from Ed's blind rampage into the world of theme parks.

He's just a prick who doesn't want anybody to have any fun. Couldn't you argue that it would be unconstitutional to stop making coasters because it violates our right to pursuit of happiness? And if he claims that they should be banned because they pose a threat to people's health, then why the hell isn't smoking illegal?

Because it's a choice that people make on their own. It may be persuaded by advertising and such, but no one holds a gun the the back of their head or a knife to their throat and says "Smoke this cigarette before I paint the walls with your brain/blood."

Welcome to 2 years ago. We've known Markey is an idiot for a long time.

And for the record, the New Jersey law bans coasters that go over 6 Gs OVER A CERTAIN TIME PERIOD. If it goes that high but it happens over a less amount of time than the limit, the coaster is still okay.

Besides, only three coasters in the world go over 6 Gs, and one got neutered and sent to SFMW.
