RCT Discussion / Zero Clearance issues

How do you prevent object ghosting when using zero clearance? The park I'm currently working on has really bad problems with ghosting, and I don't want it to be ruined. Thanks for any help/advice.

Avoid dragging the MT object through any other MT objects while in zero clearance. Or use MOM to manipulate "large" objects built without ZC.

In addition to Ling's advice, you can drag whatever you want through whatever you want, as long as the game is paused. When zero clearanced and placing large scenery objects, only move the cursor when paused.

What about flickering/partly disappearing/poorly overlapping scenery? It only happens when I use ZC, and it's very ugly and hard to work with.

Build objects on the same tile as the flickering objects.

The flickering is what happens when the clearances for all objects are set to 0. There's not really a way around it.

Though pressing 6 continuously (holding) and scrolling around can help with navigating through the glitches. There's no point explaining this, just try it if you don't know what I mean.
