The park is DONE! Another masterpiece waiting to be unleashed on the masses. Here is the press release for the park.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------
    Press Release for: Aero's Wormwood

Welcome to Wormwood! Originally started as a small family park by local investor J D Wiley, the park has gone
through some interesting changes in the last few years. Wormwood recieved it's name from Wormwood Creek
that flows through the middle of the park on it's way to the sea, and has grown around this river over the past 20
years. Combining thrills for all ages Wormwood has increased in popularity every year since it's original opening
in 1983. The park was purchased by the Aerodynamics RCT Imagineering company in 1999 in a bid to stay
aloft in the heavily competitive world of imaginary theme parks. ADS was not content to allow the park to just
stay stagnent, an investment of 110 million dollars from various investors was the first step in bringing to life the
amazing park we have today. An unheard of 7 thrill rides were added to the park and area themes were
solidified. Here you will find 8 intricately themed areas that showcase architecture and life from around the globe
    and throughout time. Areas include:

Main Gate Plaza: The shops are fantastic and the food is top notch. Just sit back and enjoy the atmosphere,
cause this is only the start of great things to come.

China Town: Two world class coasters stand watch over this quiet garden brought to you by Wang Sholin, a
master gardener from Hong Kong. Here you can relax and dine at the premire dineing facility at the park "Panda
Express", made fresh by highly skilled cooks from asia. Rides include, "Fire Dragon" , feel the heat as you take
on two towering spires with intense speed. Or perhaps "Kung-Pow" a 6 inversion coaster that has thrilled riders
    for the past 6 years.

Double Dutch: The hearty culture of the dutch has come to Wormwood. Enjoy the vistas created by old world
buildings, windmills and dams. The food is second to none here, and sweets are the specialty. Thrills are found
here too, where coasters abound, none more exciting than "Flying Dutchman" new for 2003!

Ireland: The fun continues into the world of green and magic. Two coasters highlight this area with the classic
"Four Loop Clover" and the ominous "Banshee" standing coaster. Don't forget to visit the pubs and treat
yourself to some Green Beer, but not too much, officer Mcwalters is watching.

Farmyard Fun: A place where kids can have fun and learn while doing it. Based off of the farms located on the
west coast here all the attractions are kid friendly and fun.

Venice: The waterways provided by Wormwood Creek carved out this unique area near the back of the park,
We just added the atmosphere and the fun. Main attraction? "Altimus Maximus" the tallest coaster in the park,
This areas attraction of choice, but the shops are the real gems.

Azteca: The jungles of South America have grown a little to far north. Wild Animals and dangerous things are
around every corner, including "Jaguar" and this cat can bite! One of the more interesting attractions in the area
is "Sound Storm" an hybid of thrills and sound.

Fort Thunder: Yee Haw! Welcome to the wild west! Transport yourself back to the days when entertainment
was a fireside ghost story, or a public hanging. Every day here at the fort something new is happening, and your
in the middle of it. Well placed actors are all around you and fun situations develop right before your eyes.
If showmanship isn't your forte' then hop onto some of the wildest ride in the wilderness.

Aero shall be known as one of the first legends of rct2 right along with toontowner...great, excellent, beauitful, mind-blowing, exhuberantly amazing work aero!

while everyone tries to make rct2 look equally good as rct1, aero over there goes at makes it look better. fuck you aero. but then again, i shouldn´t be feeling too much jealousy. jealousy is bad for me. then now for the best comment i could give you: *drumrolls* i think the dutch area actually captures a sort of dutch atmosphere. the orange flowers are a very nice touch. (btw, if you didn´t know, i am dutch, live there, etc., etc.) now to conclude my random babbling, i´d like to offer you my testing abilities.. as in... send me the park (don´t worry, in return for a review)

    =D.

that finishes the half positive part, but i do have some negacavities. China Town´s green and red parts might look better toned down a bit, a slightly less bright green and red could do wonders. As of now Fort Thunder (or atleast THIS screen, coz the ride part of the area was amazing if i recall corectly) looks utterly boring. I´d REALLY recommend you to spice it up a little. You could even use the scenery that came with rct2.. doesn´t look half bad. Ireland is offcoarse not multicolored bonanza like you made that here, but since i love the "multicolored bonanza" (yes, i´m now quoting myself) i can´t really make a negative comment about it.

Can't wait till its sent in.

Well, I think the park is brilliant! Definitely the best rct2 megapark I've seen so far. I'd like to send my congratulations to Aero for not trying to emulate RCT1 like so many others are doing, but instead making the park look completely different. Wait til you guys get a closer look at this one, you'll be stunned and amazed.

Aero always seems to be the forgotten parkmaker...then he releases a park and everyone remembers how good he is.

    Awesome work!

Hot damn. Thats a nice park. Everything is just so well done, makes me want to release my next element challenge, if only someone would write for me.:(
  • posix%s's Photo
I was kind of shocked when I read the topic. I thought you wouldn't want to sent it in for spotlight but just release it here.

This park will be my reason for installing RCT2 again. It's looking absolutely amazing.
If it doesn't win spotlight then I'll start to worry about iris.
  • Hevydevy%s's Photo
Simply beautiful. It looks like you've gotten the hang of RCT2. I especially like the themes you've chosen. You seen to have been able to pull them of perfectly. Definatly Spotlight material.

Waiting to see the whole thing,

Thanks for the coments! Iris, it's on it's way. Regarding the China area, when you see the area as a whole you will see why i chose the brighter colors as accents. Kung Pow is very muted in color, and the bright accents really make it stand out. The picture of Fort Thunder is basically the center of the area. Gearworks is to the top, Claim Race is to the right, and the Hainted Manor is just below it. There are a lot of attractions but they surround the Fort, i chose that to keep the "Old Town" atmosphere. If there are any other questions let me know, i will try and explain my thought processes on the park best I can. Again, thanks for the coments, i can't wait till you guys get the park!

  • sircursealot%s's Photo
    Looks amazing! Definitely can't wait.

Also, this should be a huge spotlight round. GoD, WB's Hawaiian thing, Exile, Fantastic Wonders, and now this. :0
