General Chat / RollerCoaster Tycoon Community Demographic Survey

Hello New Element,

I'm doing an ethnographic project on the RollerCoaster Tycoon community for an anthropology class I'm enrolled in.  As part of this project, I want to gather some data on the demographic of the community.  I made a short, anonymous survey that should take less than 5 minutes to complete.  If you have a spare moment, I'd be delighted if you could take it!

Look, we all know that all Oz posters are just temporary agglomerations of spiders and regurgitated eucalyptus.

yeah the place of residence was a bit off, why include china which has no rct players whatsoever but no netherlands? 

That survey was quite americentric. The question about political preference is absolutely useless in an international survey like this.

Hey everyone,  thanks for taking the survey and for the feedback.  

I'll post the results after the survey has been open for a few days.

Regarding the political parties section, definitely a mistake on my end.  I'm from the US and thus went to the common political parties here.  I'll try to rework that and see if I can update the survey without trashing the results.

For the country question, there was no easily generated question that listed all countries.  I didn't have time to type out every country in the world, so I just put down ones I had at the top of my head.  Apologies to those who live in a country I missed!  Interesting that lots of players are from the Netherlands... I had no idea!  (part of why I'm doing this )

I'm not a professional survey designer, and obviously the survey isn't perfect.  But hopefully we'll be able to get some cool results from it!
