Ask the Experts / Blacktiles in LL?

Can someone explain how to do blacktiles in LL? I know it has to do something with the maze ride and the brick walls being black, but that's all i really know. Any help?

No this won't be for my current LL project, but i just want to know.

Build two brick walled mazes on top of each other so that when one is lowered onto the other using codex no holes appear in the maze. 

Is there a faster way of building the brick walled maze? I'm trying get rid of quite a lot of a map and this is taking pretty long.

I don't think there is a quicker way to do the brick walled maze. But I know I don't ever have the patience so I footpath it, but that also takes a little bit of time.
