H2H7 / H2H Leakages.

It appears that leakages are happening, and its not just a little drip, its like someone has turned on a tap.

This is something that is apparent in all teams and clearly my warning beforehand has not made any difference to anyone.

Leaking is not permitted. Information sharing between teams is not permitted. It is cheating.

We (referee and all captains) are not happy about the current situation and so I have no choice but to take action.

ANY information that I find in the wrong hands will result in punishment. If I find someone has information that is accurate on another team then that team will be punished. And be aware that I have several sources out there that I have already received a lot of information from.

    Example 1:

Team A have information on Team B. Team B will then be punished for leaking information.

Team B will be given 2 options. The perpetrator comes forward, admits they leaked information and they will be given a ban on voting for the next round. Failure for anyone to come forward will result in the whole team receiving a ban on voting for the next round.

    Example 2:

Person A tells Person B information and then Person B tells Person C. Person A will be punished for leaking information and the same punishments as above will occur. Person B will receive no punishment as it is Person A's fault for leaking information.

As you can see, this means that no proof is required. If something has leaked and I can see the information is accurate enough that it has leaked, then I will start the above procedures. If people aren't honest enough to come forward and admit themselves, then their team will take the punishment.

Consider it this way, you cause a leak in the ship, you can patch it yourself, or let your ship go down. This is the only way to stop this from happening and I expect everyone to take note of this.

This is a team contest, you should be respecting your members of your team by not sharing confidential information. If you know of any information, please let me or your captain know. If you want to keep it to yourself then by all means do, but more fool you by being someone that wants to keep on cheating.

I don`t know all of the vocabs , BUT I know what you mean.

I don't know any leaks but I know the vocabs.

Surely there's another way to reprimand an offender that won't result in loss of votes? Potentially losing a team's-worth of votes on a match seems detrimental to the entire contest, not just the team. But perhaps that's what you're aiming for.

The problem is that there are will always be the people who will continue to do whatever they want, no matter how wrong it is, until the punishment is painful enough to justify not doing it anymore.

Which is why the team, and generally the whole contest, suffers. The punishment needs to be sever enough to discourage people from being idiots.

Ok now all 3 matches are over I can make this post. because it's been bugging me ever since I found out.

Before these matches kicked off I became aware that the capatain of at least one team this week knew who the opposing park was built by. I couldn't post this before because In case they were right.

Now I believe he only became aware of this a few days before the match so it didn't cause any changes in who would have built and I believe this leak came from ages ago when we sorted out our schedule but he only became aware recently.

First up I am aware that part of the blame for this resides with  the teams and captains for whoever originally leaked the info but my point of this message is to the person who leaked that info directly to the captains of the opposing teams (And I know who it was)

If you come across some information about a team through whatever means while in H2H. Why oh why would you give the information to the opposing teams captain? In my opinion you are deliberately undermining the contest. Especially when you are on another team in the very same contest.

So for the love of god. If you find something out about another teams plans keep it to yourself. You'll only damage the contest if you keep passing it on.

When did I say the team that leaked was us? As far as I know we are one of the less leaky teams :p

  • Louis!%s's Photo

How else would they receive information about your team if it wasn't from someone on your team, unless you are suggesting it was me? lol

Didn't cross my mind until now. You brought this onto yourself, Roomie.

Louis, he didn't even say it was his team, just that an opposing captain knew in a particular match up.
