Hey guys.
i hear this film didn't catch on over in the USA (maybe for the same reasons they renamed the HP film lol ) but to anyone whos seen it and appriciates it what did you take the meaning of it to be?

i'm pretty sure everyone has their own interpretations but it would be interesting to hear them.

Well, I saw this in the theater. (how lucky)

I got it perfectly. If youa re confused about it, just watch it 3 straight times. I guarantee you will notice something new everytime you see it.

BtW, the guy who wrote and directed (Richard Kelly) Donnie Darko is writing a new movie similar to it called Knowing.

I've yet to see it. My friends tell me it kicks ass. I'm gonna try to find it at Blockbuster or one of the other rental places around here. I wanna see it...

Donnie darko is the greatest story ever told. Minipulation of time, the soul, and fate.

According to the commentries the film is ment to be left open for interpretations.
It is a very clever film.
I've seen it twice now (bought it on DVD)...
THeres something strangely watchable about the cunning visions short clips....
