Yes, all you football (soccer) fans, im sure your well aware that this years Champions League Final is being held in Manchester which also happens to be my home town. All day iv been hearing about the thousands of Italian people who have swamped into our amazing city to watch the all Italian final between AC Milan and Juventus.
I dont have a ticket for the game () but I will be watching it tonite on TV. Im hoping for an AC win because I thought they would win it since the first group stages. Damn fine team too. But you never know with Juve, I mean winning the Italian Seria A and also convincingly knocking the reining champions (and possibly the strongest team the world has ever seen) out of the cup.(Real Madrid (ronaldo, Zidane, Raul, Figo, Carlos ect ect)) So it should be an interesting game, and also theres alot of rivalry between AC and Juve.
So if you havent guessed by now im extremely excited, I love watchin Continental games, its just a shame its two Italian teams. Oh well hopefuly next year Il be cheering my team, Man City (ANELKA!!!!) to a UEFA Cup final.
So what are your views on the game? if anybody on these boards watch football? I know Adam does and im sure he's lookin foreward to it! CANT WAIT!!! GONNA GET PISSED AFTER TOO!!!!! -

At least this game will be a bit more interesting than some of the premiership football...
Team One Defender: Boot up field
Team Two Defender: Collect
Team Two Defender: Boot up field
Team One Defender: Collect
Team One Defender: Boot up field
Team One Attacker: Gets of his fat ass and runs for it
Team One Attacker: Fucks up shot
Team Two Defender: Boot up field...
ad infinitum.
Saying that, I believe Real are the most interesting team i've seen recently. Or South Korea -

I wanted Real to win the whole thing because Utd went out to them so I could say we went out to the winners.
But as they went out, I want Juve to win. -

I hope Juventus wins. That should teach those AC bastards not to mess with Ajax. -

Here's hoping your town doesn't get burned to the ground by a bunch of unruly drunks. -

Yeah he sent Buffon the opposite way, and it was good that the teams leave the confident players for last.
Boring game up the penaltys, just like a crappy italian league game. -

I'm gelling?
ok, I guess I should stay away from english people when they talk about their sport. The lingo is almost as confusing as a bunch of african americans when a rap song blares over the radio... -

That was one of the most fascinating penalty shoot-outs I've seen in a while. Some many misses. It remindedme of Netherlands-Italy at Euro 2000, we missed 4 out of 7 penaltys. -

Was that the one in which during the match De Boer missed a hat-trick of penalties or was that the France '98 Semi - Final? Hmmmmmm
