Custom Scenery Exchange / Rohn Starr's Tin Scenery Group

  • Rohn Starr%s's Photo
I have updated my Tin Scenery Group objects. There are now 45 objects in the scenery group file. You can see the screens here. Here is the download. The zip file includes a text information file that I do ask that you read before loading these objects.

Important Note: These will overwrite the previous files.

I am using a free Freewebs account, so if the download is not working, keep trying.

Any feedback, positive or negative, is welcome.

    Thanks

Aren't all of those from Wacky Worlds?

Aren't all of those from Wacky Worlds?

They're based on the WW items from the African theme. Many of the WW scenery items have alignment issues and I corrected the majority of them with the objects that are basically the same. I also made other corrections/changes to all of the WW items that are in this group.

I did not just copy and rename the items, I did make modifications to them. I also created some of these objects from the WW objects.

Well, they look good and could be used for some themes I do, so I will be using them if I ever get around to making a park in RCT2.

Also, could you possibly do stuff like this with some of the better WW scenery?

Which scenery group do you want me to try next? I can't guarantee anything though, I'm still a beginner at this.

    Lookin good.
They'd be useful for an african village of somesort or a shanty town.

They still look very wacky world-ish but could be put to good use.

Eh, one of the ones that doesn't look like human feces...

Thanks for the comments. I agree that they still look WW-ish, but I thought that these were some of the better items they created. There are still other things I would like to add to this group in the future though.

Ah, my first NE post. Anywho, I haven't gotten to take a look yet, but for your next set of scenery, I would recommend the Asian theming. I particularly feel that it looks nice and would be fairly useful. Also, the Hawaiian objects in the American theming would be good for me, especially if they could be made partially color changeable. Thanks for converting the WW theming so that we can use it and still have others view the parks as well.

As far as converting, NO. I am not converting the WW objects so that you don't have to buy WW. I am making modifications to some of the WW objects that I like.

What specifically would you like to see from the Asian theme?

As for the North American theme, I do plan on working with the cabana roofs, but probably not do much with the walls.

Looks good. It has alot of possibilities for those who use WW. I really like the banners. There were so many themes that Chris didn't give banners for, now we can fix it.

Well, if you're only changing them a bit, not converting them over, then the Asian theming isn't quite as desirable since it already fulfills my WW purposes and seems to work well. The only thing that bugs me is that the chinese lanterns aren't a wall, but that isn't a really needed change. Oh, and I recall that the dragon has some rotational problems. But I'd recommend just going with what you think needs improvement as my only real needs are for converted WW theming.
